The Internet

Freedom of speech and freedom from taxation are key to the success of commerce via the Internet. The government has turned the internet into a way to spy on you.  I believe that this is a violation of The Bill of Rights. We need to make sure that there is never a government system which monitors peoples' words or actions on the Internet.

The federal government's "tax ban" on internet commerce is a political strategy to actually lay the foundation for a federal sales tax on internet commerce. The federal government does not currently have the authority to actually implement such a tax, and therefore does not have the authority to ban such a tax.  However, by working backwards, when the government
lifts the tax ban in a few years, everyone will think that it had the authority to implement a federal sales tax on the Internet in the first place.
