As an elected official, I would always defend the rights and liberties of all Americans against interference from the federal government. I will always be an advocate of your right to defend yourself and your family. As everyone is aware, the U.S. Constitution makes clear that our federal government is expected to build and maintain a common defense system. I fully support all the other functions of the federal government assigned to it by the U.S. Constitution.

Unfortunately, the ever expanding bureaucracy of our federal government has stretched itself way too far and too thin. In financial ruin, trillions in debt with a debased currency, our current politicians are still intent on making us, our government, and our economic resources into a weapon for global interference and dominance. And now they are looking at us to feed their appetite for power. In the name of enhanced security, we are all expected to yield to the growing tyranny of a police state. I fear that the secret search warrants, secret detentions, instant tribunals, and other bizarre sections of The "Patriot" Act were only the beginning of the end of our U.S. Constitutional rights and liberties.
