The Environment
Our environment needs our thoughtful protection. Private land
ownership
is the best way to make sure that protection of the
environment and property
values are maximized. Federal and state governments are currently the
biggest polluters of our environment. However, these institutions have made
themselves largely immune to prosecution from violating their own
environmental protection laws. Government funding to protect specific parks
and specific species should be voluntary, with funds generated by programs
like the Texas Conservation License Plate program (web link below).
