The U.S.
Senate needs a real financial conservative
Neither the Republicans nor Democrats in the U.S. Senate are
willing to vote for a balanced budget or work to significantly lower your
taxes. As a U.S. Senator, I will vote as a real financial
conservative. I will stop the
$6 billion a year that is paid
into the Social Security 'Earnings Suspense" fund - the money that
can't be matched to a retirement account. If FICA taxes for the
average American were invested at 4%, they would retire with $1,000,000 in
their account. As it is now, you would be lucky to get back $40,000 from the
government's "Trust Fund." I pledge that if elected, the average American
worker will retire as a millionaire.
Kay Bailey Hutchison and John
Cornyn both think government waste is something to be looked into but not
solved.

A Constitutional
Amendment that matters
There must be a mandatory public review period during
which no changes could be made to a bill. This will allow the voters to see
the $200 billion in federal earmarks
and provide feedback to Congress. |

It is time to leave the wars in Iraq and
Afghanistan behind. War is a choice. If the U.S. Congress would take
responsibility and vote to stop the wars, the situations could be very well
handled without the military occupations.
